I would heavily recommend NOT doing that, at least not right away. I looked at some videos on youtube however and they mention to turn OFF your Anti-virus. For any other people viewing this thread having issues on WIndows 10 Right Click the start menu, go to programs and Features, on the left side and click "Turn Windows Features On or Off" and on the list that is given to you look for "Legacy Components, click the plus next to it and Direct Play will be an option, tick it off and click OK and it works for me.
